How long will my trial take?
Most trials take between 2 – 3 hours. It’s a good idea to collect images of hair and makeup styles you like leading up to the day (Pinterest is very handy!) and whittle it down to 2 looks that you love. The rest can be done at the trial, tweaking and making adjustments until it suits you perfectly.
I have a large bridal party, do you use assistants?
Yes, if needed I can bring an assistant along on the wedding day to help out with styling. I have trusted hair and makeup contacts that I have worked with for years, who share a similar style to me.
Will my makeup last all day?
I use primers for the face as well as waterproof, 12-hour eyeliners and cream shadows. These products are really fantastic and have been used on TV reporters, battling the weather outside for hours on end, and their makeup has still managed to stay put! I can provide lipstick for you to top-up with throughout the day and evening. The only additional product you may need is some powder to prevent shine.
Will my hair hold?
I use very strong but natural looking setting sprays in the hair before styling. These are much better than hairspray, and do not cause a fixed lacquered look. Everyone’s hair type is different; some hold curls better than others, so that needs to be taken into account when choosing your perfect style. Sometimes with veils the fabric brushing against the hair can cause a little mess. Also the wide combs used to secure it often disrupt the hair structure. If wearing a veil please mention at the trial so we can decide the best place to secure it without disrupting your hairstyle.
